On 25.02.2025 , Career Guidance & Placement Cell organized a “Workshop on Resume Building : Crafting an impressive Professional Profile” at Govinda Dasa college Surathkal for all the final year students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs. The session was conducted by Ms Punitha.R , Lecturer & Placement Officer (UG), Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal. The session aimed to equip students with the essential skills for crafting compelling resumes and to provide insights into diverse career pathways available to them.
This session aimed to teach students how to build effective resumes, understand career options, and utilize the placement cell’s resources and also explain the key components of a strong resume, including summary/objective, education, skills, experience, and projects, with relevant examples for BBA, BA, and BSc students. Provide tips on tailoring resumes and cover letters for specific job roles and industries. Address common resume writing mistakes and provide solutions.
