Industrial Visit to Sannidhi Prakritik Paint 2025-26

On 12.12.2025 at 10 a.m., III BBA and I BBA students (41 in total) visited Sannidhi Prakritik Paint, Bellairu Village, Haleangadi, D.K., for an academic industrial visit coordinated by Ms. Punitha R, accompanied by Dr. Shridevi and Dr. Prateeksha. The session was led by Ms. Akshatha A., who provided insights into the production process and sustainability aspects of eco-friendly cow dung paint. Students observed the manufacturing process that uses cow dung as the primary raw material and learned about the product’s anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, non-toxic, and thermal insulating properties. The company, Karnataka’s first cow dung paint plant, is ISI certified and approved by the Central Government, promoting “Make in India” and rural entrepreneurship initiatives. The visit offered practical exposure to sustainable manufacturing practices and highlighted the importance of eco-friendly alternatives in the modern paint industry. Overall, the programme successfully enhanced students’ understanding of green innovation and local enterprise development.
