The Inauguration of the Mahila Vedike and Consumer Forum at the college marked an important milestone in fostering both gender equity and consumer awareness among the students . Held in the presence of distinguished guest, Principal, Faculty and enthusiastic students, the event aimed to empower female students and educate all students on their rights and responsibilities as consumers.
Mahila Vedike and Consumer and Human Rights Forum was inaugurated on the 9th of October 2025 . Ms Geetha Kulkarni , Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), City Crime Record Bureau (CCRB), Mangaluru City , formally inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp marking the auspicious beginning of the program, joined by Principal of the College Prof Hareesh Acharya, Vice Principal, Prof Neelappa. IQAC coordinator Prof Dhanyakumar Venkannavar ,Dr Ruksana Hassan, The National United Nations Volunteer & Staff Coordinators of the Cells and student coordinators. The Chief Guest Spoke on Empowering Youth Against Crime; Upholding the Spirit of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Tejasvi of First B.A and Student coordinator of Consumer Forum welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest. Poorvika of Final B.A was the Master of the Ceremony and Nandini of Final B.A and Student Coordinator of Mahila Vedike Proposed the Vote of Thanks. Human Rights Forum Student Coordinator Sachin was also present.
