The Computer Science Association, under the initiative of the 3rd BCA students, successfully organized “QUIZDOM” – an Inter-Class Quiz Competition for PU students on 15th October 2025 at 11.00 am. The event was held at the A.V. Hall of Govinda Dasa College and was graced by the presence of the Principal, Mrs. Geetha K (HOD, Computer Science), faculty members and PUC Faculties who extended a warm welcome to the participants and conveyed their best wishes.
The competition received an enthusiastic response, with a total of 46 teams participating in the Preliminary Round and finally five top teams qualified for the final rounds. Students from BCA, B.Com (Vocational) and GDPUC students actively participated as an enthusiastic audience, adding energy and excitement to the event.
The final rounds witnessed intense competition and showcased the knowledge and quick-thinking abilities of the participants. The winners were announced by Mrs. Geetha K,H.O.D of Computer Science and the Principal distributed the prizes, congratulating the winners and appreciating the efforts of all participants.
In addition to the quiz competition, the students of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year BCA exhibited hardware models and applications developed under the guidance of the Innovative Club. This exhibition was organized in the BCA Computer Lab, where all PUC students had the opportunity to explore the models and witness the creativity and technical skills of the BCA students.
“QUIZDOM” proved to be a fruitful learning experience for both the participants and the audience, promoting knowledge sharing, critical thinking, and team spirit. The event was a grand success and a proud moment for the Computer Science Association and the organizing students.
