The Govinda Dasa College Alumni Association (R.) organized a grand Sneha Milana Programme on 1 May 2026 at the Govinda Dasa College premises. The event served as a platform for alumni of different batches to come together, renew old friendships, share their experiences, and strengthen their bond with their alma mater. The programme was presided over by Mr. Yogish Kulai, President of GDCAA.
Mr. Yermal Rohit Hegde, Mr. Vedhaprakash Shriyan, Mr. Devananda Shetty, Dr. Sarala Ramesh Kunder, and Mr. Agari Raghavendra Rao graced the occasion as Chief Guests and addressed the gathering. In their speeches, they highlighted the importance of alumni involvement in the growth and development of educational institutions and encouraged former students to actively contribute to the progress of the college.
Sri Jayachandra S. Hatwar, President of H.V. Sangha (R.), Surathkal, Mr. Laxman B. Kanchan, a member of the first batch of Govinda Dasa College, and Mr. Prakash Shetty Hejmadi attended the programme as special invitees. They shared their memories and experiences associated with the institution and appreciated the efforts of the Alumni Association in organizing the event.
A large number of alumni from various batches participated enthusiastically in the programme. The gathering provided an excellent opportunity for former students to reconnect with their classmates, interact with faculty members, and exchange ideas for the future development of the college.
