The Department of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, organized a District-Level Elocution Competition on the theme “Life and Messages of Mahatma Gandhi, Basavanna, and Savitribai Phule” on 4 October 2025.
Ms. Prapthi, II BCA student and NSS volunteer of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, actively participated in the competition and delivered an informative and thought-provoking speech on the given theme. Her presentation reflected a deep understanding of the ideals and contributions of these great personalities.
Her participation exemplified the true spirit of the National Service Scheme by fostering social awareness, leadership, and effective communication skills. The event provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their public speaking abilities while drawing inspiration from the lives and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, Basavanna, and Savitribai Phule.
