NSS volunteers of Govinda Dasa College participated in the State-Level NSS Workshop on “Empowering Change Makers – Capacity Building for NSS Volunteers”, organized by the Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management on 1st November 2025.
The workshop aimed to enhance the leadership qualities, communication skills, social responsibility, and overall personality development of NSS volunteers, enabling them to become effective agents of positive change in society.
The resource persons for the workshop were Dr. Madhu Mala, Head of the Department of Social Work, Alva’s College, and Mr. Anantha Pai, Senior Manager – HR, Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions Limited. They delivered insightful sessions on leadership, community engagement, teamwork, and professional skill development, inspiring the volunteers to contribute more effectively to society through NSS activities.
The workshop provided an excellent platform for the volunteers to interact with participants from various institutions, exchange ideas, and strengthen their commitment to the ideals of the National Service Scheme.
