The Department of Postgraduate Studies in Commerce organised an Orientation Programme for the newly admitted M.Com. students on 1st September 2026.
The programme aimed to familiarise students with the M.Com curriculum, academic regulations, internal assessment, examination system, attendance requirements, departmental activities, and institutional facilities. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Miss Kruthi P.K., Lecturer, Department of M.Com. Prof. Hareesh Acharya P., Principal, addressed the students and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution. Dr. Ganesh Acharya, Coordinator of the PG Centre, briefed the students on the course structure, academic procedures, departmental activities, and library facilities. The programme provided an effective platform for interaction between the students, faculty members, and Principal, marking a positive beginning to the students’ M.Com journey. A total of 14 first-year M.Com students attended the programme.
