Date: 31.10.2017 Venuue: Mr Rajayya’s farm, Surathkal An outreach programme on hydroponics and organic farming was conducted at Mr Rajayya’s residence at Surathkal on 31.10.17. This retired banker (Karnataka Bank) enlightened MSc students on gardening devoid of synthetic fertilizers.

Hall, Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal PG Department of Chemistry has conducted a one day workshop on ‘Metals in therapy’ with the thought provoking words by retired Chemistry professor of Mangalore University, Dr A M A Khader on 25.09.17 . Dr Shivashankara Bhat, HOD Economics, GDC, Surathkal was the President of the event.
