On 23.12.2021, all the BBA 1st & 2nd year students along with their faculties had visited Shri. Paddambail Krishnappa Gowda‘s Terrace garden at his residence in Maroli . Shri . Krishnappa Gowda is an ex-employee who served as a clerk in a government college & has passion towards gardening. He has a terrace house of 1200 sq. feet, in which he grows around 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables and flowering plants. He has also grown 30 -50kg of paddy in grow bags in the same terrace , which made him come under limelight and he gained popularity at National level. He taught our students how to earn through gardening & space management . He has inspired several people who have passion towards gardening , but have lack of land to enjoy gardening in this concrete jungle. GDC’s team recognised Mr. Krishnappa’s work and his dedication and also felicitated him with a small token of appreciation.
This programme was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Commerce & Business Administration association, GDC , Surathkal .In total 39 students reaped this opportunity and Mr. Ganesh Acharya , Ms. Shridevi . Ms. Punitha R & Mrs.Shilparani had accompanied students.
