The NSS team organized a pledge-taking ceremony on June 26, 2024 in college to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at the college. The IQAC Coordinator, a guest at the event, highlighted the devastating impact of drug abuse on young lives and urged students to stay vigilant against substances that lead to social and violent behaviors. Principal Prof. Krishnamoorthy P., who presided over the function, emphasized that young people are the nation’s strength and play a crucial role in societal development. He stressed the importance of their active participation in the Drug-Free India campaign.
The NSS unit officer Dr. Bhagyalaxmi M welcomed the gathering and led the pledge of allegiance. The event was attended by Librarian Dr. Sujatha B., Lecturer Ms. Apeksha Bhandary, Office Superintendent Sri. Venkappa Moolya, and volunteers.
