Hindi Diwas, observed on September 14th each year, marks the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of India.
Govinda Dasa College, Department of Hindi celebrated Hindi Diwas with enthusiasm and a variety of engaging activities aimed at promoting and appreciating the Hindi language.
The celebration began with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp with a special assembly. Dr.Sujatha Junnu teacher in Hindi, N.I.T.K English medium school was the chief guest for the function. They addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of Hindi in Indian culture and its role in national unity. Presidential remarks was rendered by Prof.Krishnamurthy P, Principal of GDC.
Students presented projects, poems and dance in Hindi. These performances not only highlighted the linguistic richness of Hindi but also showcased students creativity and oratory skills.
Vice Principal Prof.Neelappa V, IQAC co-Ordinator Prof. Harish Acharya were present on the movement.
Overall, Hindi Diwas celebrations in Govinda Dasa College, aim to instill a sense of pride and connection to the Hindi language among students, ensuring its continued relevance and appreciation in their lives.The event provided an excellent platform for students to explore and express their appreciation for the Hindi language. It was a resounding success.
