The Department of Hindi, Govinda Dasa College, in association with Bank of Baroda, organized a grand celebration of the birth anniversary of one of India’s greatest literary icons and renowned Hindi poet, Harivansh Ray Bachchan, on 27 November 2025 at the college Audio-Visual Hall.
As part of the celebration, the Department of Language conducted Hindi, Kannada, and Sanskrit Elocution Competitions, encouraging students to explore their linguistic talents and oratory skills. The winners of these competitions were felicitated with prizes generously sponsored by Bank of Baroda.
Prof. Harish Acharya P. presided over the function.
