A career guidance programme titled “A Pathway After Graduation” was organized to guide students about the various opportunities available after completing their undergraduate studies. The programme was held in the AV Hall at 1.30 p.m. The resource person for the session was Suresh MS, Director of Sarvajna IAS Academy, Pumpwell, Mangalore.
The programme was conducted on two days to accommodate students from different streams. On 9th March 2026, the session was organized for III BBA and III B.Com students, and on 10th March 2026, it was conducted for III B.Sc., BA, and BCA students.
The programme began with Ms. Punitha R, Placement Officer (UG), welcoming the guest and introducing the resource person to the students. In her welcome address, she highlighted the importance of career planning and encouraged students to explore different career paths after graduation.
During the session, Mr. Suresh MS provided valuable insights into various career opportunities available after graduation. He explained the scope of competitive examinations such as civil services and other government jobs. He also guided students on how to prepare for such examinations and emphasized the importance of dedication, time management, and consistent preparation.
The speaker motivated the students to set clear goals and work systematically towards achieving them. He also shared practical tips on developing general awareness, improving analytical skills, and maintaining discipline during the preparation process.
The interactive session allowed students to ask questions regarding career choices, higher studies, and preparation strategies for competitive examinations. The programme was informative and highly beneficial for the students as it helped them gain clarity about their future career paths.
The session concluded with a positive response from the students, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable guidance provided by the resource person.
