Annual Day Celebration of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal was organized on 2nd April 2026 at Ranga Mandira at 9:30 AM. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. Raviprakash Y., Associate Director, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. President of H.V. Sangha ®, Surathkal Sri Jayachandra S. Hatwar presided over the programme.
Prof. Ramesh Bhat S.G., Director of Administration, delivered the welcome address. Prof. Hareesha Acharya P., Principal of the College, presented the Annual Report. Prof. Neelappa V., Vice Principal, read out the list of donors.
Dr. Sowmya Praveen K., SWO; Mr. Dhanyakumar Venkannavar, IQAC Coordinator; Dr. Ganesha Acharya, Coordinator of P.G. Departments; Dr. Karthik J.S., HOD, P.G. Chemistry; the Students’ Senate Secretary and Joint Secretaries; and various association secretaries were present on the dais.
Ms. Pratheeksha Bhat, III B.C.A., was awarded the Best Student of the Year. I B.Com. was declared the Second Runner-up in the Best Class Award, III B.Com. was the Runner-up, and III B.C.A. was recognized as the Overall Winner of the Best Class Award.
