Humanities Association and Department of Political Science jointly organized a talk on “Political Analysis – an Art” on 23.09.2019. Prof. Surendranatha Shetty, H.O.D Dept. of Political Science , M.G.M College was the Resource Person He addressed students on the issues like Communication Skill, Writing Skill, Politics and Dharma and Politics and Ethics.

An aptitude test followed by technical face to face interview conducted for final BCA students by AMJ solutions on 23/09/2019 in BCA Block. All final year BCA students participated in this placement drive.

On 23-09-2019 Department of commerce organised guest lecture on Banking and competitive exam by Mrs. Shantha and Mrs. Lakshmi of Smriti Foundation , Mangalore in order to impart knowledge about the areas available in banking and how to face it through competitive exams.

In order to identify , nourish ,sustain and enhance the talents of Govinda Dasa College, “GDC TALENT HUNT 2019-20” was conducted by the Fine arts Department. Competitions on various art forms such as Classical, drawing, clay model, photography, collage ,etc was conducted. Best of them will be selected for various Inter-Collegiate competitions.

On 13th September 2019 Guest lecture on “Internet of Things and Service Digitalization in E-Commerce” by Mr. Nithin Manohar was organised for Second year M.com students. He gave a clear picture regarding Global E-Commerce, Remote servicing, Digitalization , Evolution of World Wide Web and Internet of things to the students.

Onam, a traditional festival was celebrated in the PG Department of Commerce on 12th September 2019. Pookalam competition was held for PG Students. Principal Dr.Shivashankar Bhat, Director-Administration Prof.Ramesh Kulai ,Faculty members and students were present and joined in the Onam celebration .

On 5th September 2019 A guest talk was organised to M.Com students on the topic “Understanding to transform” by Ms. Sushmitha Achar. She spoke on how every people personnel inspires to impact and not just being target motive. Principal Dr.Shivashankar Bhat delivered the introductory address. Shivani of Ist year M.Com compered the programe.
