On 19th November 2023, the Department of Commerce & Business Administration, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, hosted ‘Innovatia 2023-24’ at Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal. This event featured an array of innovative products created by B.Com and BBA students. Mr. Prajwal Karkera, the marketing lead of Microdegree, Mangalore, served as the judge for the event. The standout entry, ‘Nanda Deepa’ by II BBA students (Ms. Varsha, Mr. Arjun, Ms. Abhiksha, & Mr. Haresh), clinched the title of “Best Innovative Product” of 2023-24.
The winners of the competition were:
- 1st Place: ‘Nanda Deepa’ by II BBA students (Ms. Varsha, Mr. Arjun, Ms. Abhiksha, & Mr. Haresh)
- 2nd Place: ‘Fusion Mix Punch’ by III BBA students (Ms. Charishma, Mr. Abhishek B Bhat, Ms. Poorvi Ashok Kumar, & Mr. Anil Kumar)
3rd Place: ‘Sented Candles’ by II B.Com students (Ms. Jyothika, Ms. Mamatha, Ms. Rakshitha, Ms. Preethu, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Apoorva, & Ms. Deeksha).
