Outreach program “Young minds great ideas” was organised at Govt high school, Kuloor on 07/03/2017 by Dr.B Muralidhar Rao. Students of B.Sc demonstrated various experiments in chemistry, physics and maths.

Talk on “Material characterization using scanning electron microscope” was given by Mrs.Melby Chacko Asst.Prof.Dept of metallurgy ,NITK at A.V Hall,GDC on 21-02-2017 conducted by the department of physics . Talk was conducted for the students of B.Sc.

The seminar compitition was organised in joint venture of ACTMU and science association at Govinda Dasa College on 04/02/2017. Students from 13 different colleges participated in the competition.

Government of Karnataka organised Folk Dance competition held at Rangayana , Mysore on Jan 2017. Our Folk Dance team represented DK District.

Legal awareness progrmamme was conducted for BA Students on “DRUG ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH” . The programme was conducted by Consumer and Human Rights Cell of our college in association with Legal Services Authority , Mangalore on 19.01.2017. Our Fine Arts Drama team had represented Karnataka in National Level ‘Yuvajanothsava’ held at Rothak, Hariyana from 12.01.2107 to 16.01.2017 and won 4th place in One act play (Drama).

Government of Karnataka had organised District Level Yuvajanothsava on 13.12.2016 at Pavanje. Our Folk dance team bagged 1st place and have been selected for State Level which will be held at Mysore.
