The  Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in commerce Govinda Dasa college organised guest lecture on ‘Accounting Standards’ was given by CA Shravan Kumar, ACA to M.Com  students   on 01.10.2019. The guest lecture was fruitful for students.

On 13th September 2019  Guest lecture on “Internet of Things and Service Digitalization in E-Commerce” by Mr. Nithin Manohar was organised for Second year M.com students. He gave a clear picture regarding  Global E-Commerce, Remote servicing, Digitalization , Evolution of World Wide Web and Internet of things  to the students.

Onam, a traditional festival was celebrated in the PG Department of Commerce on  12th September 2019. Pookalam competition was held for PG Students. Principal Dr.Shivashankar Bhat, Director-Administration Prof.Ramesh Kulai ,Faculty members and students were present and joined in the Onam celebration .

A MOU was signed by Principal of Govinda Dasa College Surthkal in association with Post Graduate Degree in Commerce  and Director, Bajaj Finserv. Regarding Conducting certificate course in Banking,Finance and Insurance to M.Com students to enhance the employability skills of students to deal with current scenario.

Banking, Finance and Insurance The inaugural programme of Certificate course in “Banking, Finance and Insurance” is organized along with CPBFI on 24-07-2019 Mrs. Archana Bhat Director of the institute was present. 40 M.Com students have registered for the certificate course.   An online exam was conducted to evaluate the aptitude of the students.
